In dragon mythology, red dragons typically represent destruction and endless fury. But "Ignis" was different; he was the first red dragon to make his home in the bell tower of the Magic Academy.
Ignis cared neither for treasure nor for battle. His favorite moments were when the afternoon sun filtered through the stained-glass windows, warming his crimson scales. Whenever the tower bells chimed, he would curl his long tail into a perfect circle, wrap himself beneath his broad wings, and fall into a deep slumber. It is said that his breath carried the faint scent of amber and parchment, instantly calming any anxious emotions nearby.
